Glass and Glazing Federation

The GGF is the recognised leading authority for employers and companies within the flat glass and glazing industry.

 

Chipping Norton Glass is a member of the Glass and Glazing Federation.

 

Companies are vetted before joining. They must have been in business for three years and have sound financial accounts.

 

Members are bound to comply with the Government approved GGF Code of Ethical Practice:

 

>

Any deposit you place with a member company shall be safeguarded by the GGF's own Deposit Indemnity Fund.

>

A seven-day 'cooling off' period applies to all contracts negotiated away from business premises. This is irrespective of whether you invited the sales call or not.

>

All glazing instlaled shall be to the current safety requirements of the British standard BS6262.

>

Samples shown shall be representative of the product to be installed.

>

Advertising shall be a true and accurate description of the products offered.

>

All members must treat you, the customer, with courtesy and respect at all times.

 

They must comply with British Standards and GGF specifications.

 

Deposits are protected by up to 25% of the contract price or £2,500.00, whichever is lower.

 

If you have any concerns about a member, the GGF is there to provide concilation and, if necessary, arbitration.
