Double glazed windows and doors

Timber windows and doors

Timber windows and doors, designed and manufactured to the highest standards will with minimum maintenance last longer than a lifetime.

Our windows and doors are manufactured in accordance with the latest building regulations; they are custom made to your requirements combining traditional styles with modern technology. Draught-proof, double-glazed and security measures are standard and all windows and doors are supplied fully finished for maximum durability.
The timber used for windows and doors is an engineered Redwood Heartwood that is similar to that used in Victorian times and is a very good base for accepting the Sikens coating used to provide a 25 year warranty. Another timber available to use is a laminated, knot free, European Oak.
The timbers used for the construction of the windows are selected from well-managed forests and all timber may be traced back to its origins;

Glazing

Windows are glazed using 24mm double glazed units produced by us to British Standards using 4mm Low E Energy Saving Glass.

As manufacturers of double glazed sealed units, we are working hard to keep up with all the new European legislation that applies to the glazing trade, by installing new machinery to manufacture double glazed sealed units to the highest standards.

We have been awarded the BSI Kitemark for our double glazed sealed units. The Kitemark is the symbol of trust, integrity and quality. Manufacturers having this award associated with their product will reassure customers that they have satisfied the most rigorous of quality processes. In addition to testing, the British Standards Institution will inspect us at least twice a year to ensure that we maintain the high standards that the glazing industry must achieve.
