Double glazed windows and doors

Locking Systems for Windows

Shootbolts

Cockspur

Key locking is standard on this simple to operate but very effective method of security. (available only on Aluminium Windows)

Espag

To provide added resistance to an intruder this system locks in multiple places around the opening. The lockable handle has a quick release feature for easy operation and a lockable ventilation position allows secure ventilation whilst you sleep.

Shootbolts

Frame corners are considered the most vulnerable point of attack by intruders. Shootbolts offer all the features of the espag system with two additional steel bolts, that are driven into the corners of the window when the handle is closed.

Friction Stay Hinges

Fire escape hinge and easy clean hinges

Standard Security Hinge

Has an "L" shaped arm in the top of the hinge that reduces the risk of the hinge being forced open.

Fire Escape Hinges

To allow an additional method of easy escape in the event of a fire, the window will open fully from the side. A window on the upper floor of your property should have a fire escape hinge fitted.

Easy Clean Hinges

A button to the top and bottom of the hinge allows the window to slide to one side enabling you to clean the exterior of the window from inside.

Locking Systems for Doors

Door locks feature twin tapered hooks, rollers and a robust central deadbolt as standard. The rollers smoothly guide the hook into position enabling the hooks to secure into the frame. Two additional steel shootbolts are driven vertically into the top and bottom corners of the door when the handle is closed.

Hinges

Adjustable flag hinges are fitted, these are screwed directly into the steel reinforcement for maximum security performance.

A 90 ° restrictor stay located at the top of the door can be specified, and is most often used on double doors.
