Since moving into the property seven years ago a conservatory had always been planned but it was only a call from your friends Everest that pushed us to actually do something about it.

Being less than impressed with their methods I asked a friend of mine in the building trade if he could recommend anyone and was duly given the name of your company.

Having spent an hour discussing the job with Dave, your surveyor and listening to his suggestions I knew that C N Glass was the right company to do the job.

When the day came for the job to start Robert and Gary promptly arrived and spent some time with us going through how the job would be done.

I have to say those guys are a credit to your company and I cannot praise them enough. They worked solidly for three weeks, openly enjoyed and had pride in what they were doing, always showed professionalism and skill in all the different aspects of the job and were always approachable with any queries.

The end result is that we have a beautiful new room to enjoy for many years to come.

We would like to express our sincere satisfaction with and gratitude for the unusually high standards of both product and service that we received from C N Glass for our recently installed Secondary Double Glazing. In particular:

1. Prior to engaging C N Glass for this installation, we had obtained quotes from on the order of five companies, and found the product quality offered by your company to be clearly at the top end of the (wide) quality range of installations we had seen, while the price was at the bottom end of the (equally wide) price range.

2. Further into the process, we found the surveyors and installers to be highly sensitive to our ambitions for the aesthetic and conservation aspects of the installation, and to the demands of working with an historic and listed residential property.

3. As I have already mentioned, we particularly appreciated your applying the Zero Rating VAT category to our installation. It is (unfortunately) a very common experience for owners of listed residential properties to find themselves paying far more tax than they ought to be liable for, as we are in the hands of contractors who do not always have the understanding and/or the patience to cater to more unusual aspects of their clients’ interests in this way; this problem is well-recognised in the Listed Property Owners Club. We understand that dealing with this aspect of our contract imposed extra work on you at a very busy time, and we feel that it is a very positive testament to C N Glass’s attitude to its customers that you were willing to this for us.

4. More trivially, but also importantly, we were also impressed throughout the process with the ease with which we were able to contact you when any queries arose, and with the promptness and efficiency of the responses we received ( this has certainly not been our universal experience in trying to get alterations made to our property!)
